About the Conference
This event marks the first Finnish edition of two internationally recognized conferences held annually for over five years: the Chronic Pathologies Conference and the Crypto Infections Conference. Now united under one groundbreaking platform, the conference brings together leading scientists, clinicians, and patient advocates to explore the latest advancements in chronic infection pathologies—including tick-borne diseases, long COVID, polymicrobial infections, and more. Join us for a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and inspire change in the understanding and management of chronic illnesses.
Conference Theme
The theme, "SHOW ME THE DATA!" reflects our mission to spotlight robust, data-driven research in chronic infection pathology. As this field evolves, it is critical to distinguish evidence-based science from unsupported claims that may mislead researchers, clinicians, and patients. We encourage submissions presenting empirical data, even if not yet peer-reviewed or published.

Call for Abstracts
We invite abstracts for both oral and poster presentations that:

Offer novel insights with clinical or epidemiological relevance.

Are free from commercial bias (limited sponsored slots available).
We welcome submissions from all research areas and real-world practices related to chronic infection pathology.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit
CIPRESS (Chronic Infection Pathology Related Education and Science Society) and the Chronic Infection Pathology Conference (CIP) are committed to supporting professional development and improving patient care through high-quality education. We will apply for CME accreditation through the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) approximately 8 weeks before the conference. Once approved, this live activity will be eligible for up to 14 CME credits for physicians. Healthcare professionals will be able to claim credits commensurate with their level of participation. Stay tuned for updates regarding CME status.
